Oregon 150
Commemorating the Sesquicentennial of Oregon's Statehood in 2009.
At a press conference in Salem on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 Governor Theodore R. Kulongoski invited Oregonians to start planning their state’s biggest birthday party in 50 years – the sesquicentennial in 2009 – and announced a no-cost, “official partnership program” for organizations statewide to become involved.
The Oregon 150 Official Partnership Program allows any organization in the state to submit a project to be included as an official sesquicentennial project. To become an official Oregon 150 partner, your 2009 project must support the mission and vision of Oregon 150.
